I'm Thomas Michael Swensen, the author of the forthcoming book Where Next, Columbus?: The Native Punk Mixtape. I was born and raised in the Kodiak Archipelago and graduated from S.A.V.E. II secondary school in Anchorage, Alaska just before I turned 20 years old.  When I was 25 I began community college in the lower 48 and and from there earned a Ph.D from University of California Berkeley.
